Tasting notes
The 2022 Laurea Red Wine is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. Often incorporating young-vine portions of the vineyards it is sourced from, it's a more fruit-forward, less tannic wine than Accendo's flagship Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of mocha, violet and bay leaf accent cherries on the nose, while the medium- to full-bodied palate is supple and silky. It's charming and easy to drink, turning just a slight bit coarser in feel on the finish. Enjoy it over the next decade or so.

The entry-level 2022 Laurea offers red, blue, and black fruits intermixed with graphite and scorched earth notes. Round and supple, with beautiful freshness and a pure, pretty, elegant style, it's already drinking well yet will keep for 10-15 years. The blend is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot, and there are just under 1,000 cases produced.
