Tasting notes
The 2022 Fiefs de Lagrange has a more floral bouquet, with blackberry, tobacco and graphite scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and fine depth, fresher than the previous wines in the flight, with a peppery finish. Fine. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting in London.

Ripe red and black currants, leafy tobacco, and loamy earthy notes all emerge from the 2022 Les Fiefs De Lagrange, a charming, medium to full-bodied, round, layered second wine that has ripe tannins, a layered, balanced mouthfeel, and a great finish.
The 2022 Les Fiefs de Lagrange has a pretty nose with blackcurrant, raspberry and a light floral touch that emerges with aeration. It just needs a little coaxing. The medium-bodied palate features pliant tannins and a bit of chewiness on the mid-palate, leading to a briny, short finish. Fine.
Exhibiting aromas of cassis, tobacco leaf, sweet soil tones and licorice, the 2022 Les Fiefs de Lagrange is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and concentrated, with velvety tannins and a rather rich, generous profile. As ever, this bottling benefits from the strict selection that goes into crafting the grand vin.
