Lastly, and the most expensive in the lineup, the 2016 Resurrection Red Wine (66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Petite Sirah) is a full-bodied, pure, elegant beauty that boasts awesome notes of dried flowers, lavender, spice box, and chocolate, with a rocking core of blueberry and cassis-driven fruit. With silky tannins, remarkable purity, and a huge finish, it certainly plays with the big guns in the vintage. Drink it over the coming two decades.

Blended of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Petite Sirah aged 20 months in 53% new French oak, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Resurrection Napa Valley Red sings of crème de cassis, lifted black plums preserves, cherry cordial and blueberry pie with hints of eucalyptus, licorice and violets. Big, rich, full and concentrated, it has layer upon layer of black fruits and spices, paved by fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long. 210 cases were made.
