Score 87/100 · Drink 2001-2006, Pierre Rovani, Oct 2001
The dark-colored 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (500 cases were produced) has a grilled herb, blackberry, and roasted eggplant-scented nose. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, crammed with black fruits, and has a broad, well-balanced personality. Its finish reveals some alcoholic warmth and is slightly firm, yet this is a delicious, highly expressive wine for drinking over the next 4-5 years. Tel. (509) 875-2061.
