Score 93/100 · Drink 1987-2000, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
The spectacularly fresh, yet huge bouquet of spring flowers, melons, herbs, and minerals is hard to beat. The wine is full bodied, exceptionally rich, creamy textured, yet impeccably balanced. This splendidly ripe Domaine de Chevalier has reached full maturity, but displays no signs of age in either its color or freshness of fruit. It is quite a tour de force in white wine making. Bravo! Anticipated maturity: Now-2000. Last tasted, 3/87.
