Tasting notes
The 2001 Zinfandel, which includes a bit of Petite Sirah in the blend, possesses a plum/ruby color, medium to full body, and sweet aromas of peppery black cherry fruit, kirsch liqueur, and notions of old oak as well as incense. It should drink well for 4-5 years. Tel. (707) 942-5105; Fax (707) 942-4221

Full deep red. Aromas of redcurrant, plum, tobacco and loam. Fat, soft and plump, with sweet flavors of red fruits and spices. Finishes with fine, dusty tannins and lingering notes of currant and milk chocolate. Nicely pliant red wine, but I'm not sure I would have picked this as zinfandel.
