Tasting notes
This serious and concentrated wine reveals a dark ruby color, and, initially, a restrained aromatic of attractive black cherry and leather-scented fruit. In the mouth, the wine is somewhat austere, but cleanly made, with medium body, and a ripe, dusty, strawberry/cherry fruitiness. It should drink well for 3-4 years. Very good deep color. Aromas of bitter cherry, raspberry and dried flowers, plus a hint of leather. Concentrated, juicy and supple in the mouth, with red berry and smoke flavors and an absence of rough edges. Finishes firm and youthful.
