There are just 88 cases of the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Quartz Creek, selected from a no-till section of young vines. All Cabernet Sauvignon, it features scents of mint and cedar set against a backdrop of cherries and almost peppery cinnamon-like notes. In the mouth, it's medium-bodied, silky but structured, with an elegant, lingering finish.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Quartz Creek is a powerful, dense wine. In this vintage, the site’s rocky soils yielded a vibrant, structured and aromatic Cabernet Sauvignon. Graphite, menthol, cloves, iron and dark fruit all build into the ample finish. The 2021 is going to need a number of years to come into its own. This is an especially brooding, tannic young Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged for 20 months in French oak barriques.

Black currant, red currant, terra-cotta, lead pencil, and ink. Medium-bodied with creamy and polished tannins with an open velvety texture and a fresh and vivid finish. Drinkable but give it time to show its true self. Clarity and polish. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Quartz Creek is wonderfully savory and vibrant in the glass. Dark red-toned fruit, blood orange, mint and white pepper all confer tons of energy. I especially admire the wine's vibrancy. The Burgess Quartz Creek Cabernet Sauvignon continues to impress.
