Tasting notes
The other 2013s include an outstanding 2013 Cameron Proprietary Red. A similar blend to the 2012, the wine is deep ruby/purple with notes of cedar wood, licorice, white flowers and blue and black fruits. It is medium-bodied, elegant and, again, a somewhat modern California take on a St.-Emilion from Bordeaux. Drink it over the next 12-15 years.

Fisher's 2013 Red Wine Cameron is flat-out delicious. Dark red cherry, plum, smoke, tobacco, leather and cedar are all super-expressive in the glass. Drink this exuberant, racy red over the next handful of years. This is an especially ripe, forward wine for the year, but I doubt that will be too much of an issue for a wine that is meant to be enjoyed on release. There is no shortage of near term appeal here.
