The 2000 Brut Millesimee reveals gorgeous aromatics that meld into an array of smoke, minerals and pears, showing tons of energy and focus along with a notable degree of depth to the fruit . The finish is long, sweet and sublime. This bottle was disgorged in July, 2007. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2016. Pierre Moncuit is a small grower based in Mesnil-sur-Oger with 19 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, most of which are in the village Mesnil itself. All of the estate’s wines are single-vintage wines, even if the vintages aren’t always officially declared. The Moncuit wines undergo malolactic fermentation.
