2007 Newton Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered

Red-ruby. Enticing aromas of plum, currant, mocha, earth and milk chocolate, sexed up by a note of Montecristo #2 (Cuban, of course). Lush on entry, then sweet and concentrated in the middle, with good integrated acidity giving definition to the flavors of currant, chocolate and earth. An emerging raspberry note contributes lift. Finishes with dusty, spreading tannins and very good shape and length. This can be enjoyed young or cellared.
