Tasting notes
Lots of tannins but they are soft and rounded with a juicy undertone. Full-bodied and flavorful with a suppleness and hint of mountain fruit with a tameness and kindness to let you get to know it. Drinkable but better in a few years.

Beatty Ranch, at 1,800 feet above sea level, lies above the normal fog line on Howell Mountain. From a three-acre parcel that was the last pick for the winery, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beatty Ranch remains impressively fresh, with ripe cherries joined by hints of pine and/or rosemary, imparting a slightly medicinal quality. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this is richly textural and silky in feel, with a long, softly dusty finish. Give it a few years in the cellar.
