Tasting notes
The least expensive wine of this grouping is Frank Family Vineyards’ 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa, which is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Petite Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Attractive blackcurrant fruit, chocolate and spice along with some subtle background forest floor and coffee emerge from the aromatics and flavors of this medium to full-bodied, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins are soft, and the wine juicy and impressive. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.

Frank Family's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a very pretty, succulent wine to drink now and over the next few years. This is an especially ripe, forward style. Super-ripe black cherries, mint, licorice and sweet spices are pushed forward.
