Dark purple. Explosively perfumed aromas of ripe red and dark berries, baking spices, incense and smoky minerality. Round, sappy and sweet, with deep raspberry and cherry jam flavors, supple texture and gentle mineral lift. Picks up blackberry and cassis on the long, juicy finish. This is all about fruit today, and the tannins are completely absorbed, leaving no hard edges to get in the way of early enjoyment.
