88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec. Elegant and intense. Bright red and blue fruit, violets. Dust and cocoa powder. Pleasant, slightly grippy mouthfeel. Full bodied. Intense palate of blueberry and cocoa and toasted oak. Intense on a lingering finish. (MD)

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is a pretty, supple wine with plenty of near-term appeal. Sweet herbs, red berries, flowers and leather meld together nicely in the glass. The 2012 is soft, supple and open. I expect the 2012 will offer its best drinking earlier rather than later.
