Tasting notes
The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon The Arsenal Greer Vineyard is sweet, perfumed and beautifully delineated. Here the aromas are much more high-toned, with crushed flowers, rose petals, sweet herbs and licorice that mark the finish. This is an especially silky, fragrant Cabernet Sauvignon. Arsenal emerges from a 2-acre block in Rutherford located between Scarecrow and Staglin.

This is an exciting set of wines from Aaron Pott, who also makes wines for a small number of clients in his consulting practice. These wines are all 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Unfortunately I was only able to taste one of the 2009s, as the wines had just been bottled at the time of my visit. Tel. (707) 226-3277
