Good dark red. Black cherry, rhubarb, spices, tar and pepper on the aromatic nose. Juicy and spicy but not particularly sweet or generous. This seems quite ripe, and finishes with smooth tannins, and yet I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor intensity. Rather oaky.
