Very good dark ruby-red. Fascinating deep aromas of black raspberry, smoke and coffee. Lush, sappy flavor of crystallized berries. Supple and spicy in the mouth; ripe but not overripe, but tastes bigger than its 13.3% alcohol would suggest. Sound acidity is nicely integrated. Very long finish has the fruit to stand up to the tongue-coating, ripe tannins.
