Tasting notes
Saturated garnet. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red and dark fruits, incense, vanillin oak and smoky minerals, and a hint of tobacco builds as the wine opens up. Sweet, spicy and energetic on the palate, offering intense black currant, cherry liqueur, mocha and fruitcake flavors that are sharpened by a suggestion of cracked pepper. Melds richness and energy with a sure hand and finishes wonderfully long, with sharp definition, lingering sweetness and harmonious tannins adding shape. 70% new French oak.

The 2019 Origin Cabernet Sauvignon is scented of pure aniseed, cedar and coffee beans with blackcurrant fruit and touches of floral perfume, with a palate that is surprisingly lifted this vintage. This was aged in about 50% new oak barriques and puncheons.
Gorgeous cassis and blackberry fruits as well as leafy herbs, unsmoked tobacco, and chocolatey oak notes emerge from the 2019 Origin, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon release that has ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. As with all the wines here, the texture is beautifully done, it has remarkable purity, and is just a classy wine to enjoy over the coming 10-15 years.
