Tasting notes
(bottled in August of 2004) Aromas of grilled almond, vanilla and butterscotch. Offers good sweetness of fruit and sound acids but less dimension and complexity than usual for this bottling. Finishes a tad sweet/sour. Seems more disjointed than the other Littorai chardonnays despite the fact that this has had more time to recover from the bottling.

Rich and broad, the medium to full-bodied 2003 Chardonnay Thieriot Vineyard offers notions of smoke, hazelnuts, marmalade, and pears in its delicate, introspective personality. Drink this complex Chardonnay during its first 3-4 years of life. (Price not yet determined) Tel. (707) 823-9586; Fax (707) 823-9589
