Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2039, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2021
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Home Ranch Cuvee comes mostly from vines on the west side of Sonoma that were planted by Sojourn founder Craig Haserot. Revealing a dense purple hue, the wine offers a youthful, subtly unevolved nose of dark black and blue fruits intermixed with plenty of sappy green herbs, graphite, tobacco, and lead pencil. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it displays that classic Sonoma vibe of minerality, acidity, and structure, while still bringing plenty of fruit and richness. Hide bottles for 2-3 years and enjoy over the following 10-15.
