A solid Merlot that has lots of charm, the 2019 Merlot offers up textbook notes of black cherries, blackberries, peppery herbs, and leather. Medium-bodied, supple, and nicely textured on the palate, it’s perfect for drinking any time over the coming 4-6 years. The blend is 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2019 Merlot is done in a light-bodied style that emphasizes floral aromatics and supple, forward red/purplish berry fruit. I would like to see more depth, as the tannins are a bit angular for the wine's structure.
