Tasting notes
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Syrah Chico’s Hill offers fragrant garrigue, earth and Provence herbs notes over a core of black cherries, baked blackberries and anise, plus a touch of dark chocolate. Very full-bodied, concentrated and loaded with black berry and spice flavors, it has a firm, chewy structure and great length.

Inky blue and purplish fruit, tobacco, mint, licorice, lavender and violet notes infuse the 2014 Syrah Chico's Hill. Dark, powerful and generous on the palate the 2014 is showing beautifully today.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
