2017 Dakota Shy Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson Vineyard

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson is powerful, rich and inky. The warmth of the vintage really comes through in a jammy, opulent Cabernet loaded with near- and medium-term appeal. The fruit profile and overall texture make the Melanson feel a bit heavy and very much on the ripe side of things. In exchange, though, the 2017 will drink well early, especially within the context of Pritchard Hill Cabernet.
