Score 90/100 · Drink 2016-2021, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2016
Rodney Strong's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Vineyards (Alexander Valley) is plump, juicy and attractive, all qualities that make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Expressive savory and mineral notes are laced into a core of dark red plum fruit with more than enough depth to balance the tannins. There is a lot to like here.

Score 88/100 · Drink 2016-2031, Robert Parker, Mar 2016
The 2013 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has an opaque ruby/purple color, a nice, sweet kiss of black currants and cherries, some dusty loamy soil notes and a hint of graphite. The tannins are moderate, and the wine medium to full-bodied and made for a good 15 or more years of longevity. However, it is accessible now.
