Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Chabot Vineyard is silky, pliant and inviting. Super-ripe red cherry, raspberry and expressive floral notes race out of the glass. This is a fairly open-knit, giving style for this site, where the obsidian-rich soils tend to yield powerful wines.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Chabot Vineyard has a pretty nose of blackcurrant cordial, mulberries and blueberries with hints of pencil savings and touches of Indian spices and bay leaves. Full-bodied, concentrated and offering up plenty of rich black fruit and spice layers, it has firm, grainy tannins and a seamless lift, finishing long and spicy. 472 cases were made.
