Aromas of blackberries, flowers and blackcurrants follow through to a full body, round and velvety tannins and a juicy, fruity finish. Drink in 2020.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon St. Helena Home Vineyard shows the more tannic, structured side of St. Helena. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, chocolate and dark spice give the 2014 much of its dark, brooding personality. It's fascinating to taste the Home next to the Chabot as the two sites are relatively close to each other but dramatically different in terms of the wines they produce. Chabot tends to be more sensual, while Home tends to show greater structure and a darker profile.
