Score 93/100 · Drink 2016-2036, Robert Parker, Dec 2016
Not so the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Bancroft Ranch from Howell Mountain. This is another of their major building blocks for the Private Reserve. The 2014 offers mulberry, graphite, spring flowers, blueberry and black raspberry fruit. It should drink nicely for at least another 15-20 years.

Score 91+/100 · Drink 2019-2029, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Oct 2016
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Bancroft Ranch opens with striking aromatics. Vibrant and powerful in the glass, the 2014 offers notable structure to match its layered personality. Readers will have to be patient with the 2014, as it is likely to require at least a few years to shed the formidable tannin.
