The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Winston Hill emerges from Rich Frank's estate vineyard in Rutherford. Seamless and unctuous in the glass, with soft contours, the Winston Hill is endowed with superb depth and tons of character. Dark red cherry, pomegranate, mocha, flowers and white chocolate infuse this supremely expressive and inviting Rutherford Cabernet. Floral notes add brightness as the wine opens up in the glass. In 2016, the Winston Hill is impeccable.

Composed of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 5% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Winston Hill is very deep garnet-purple in color and gives up pronounced cassis, black cherries and warm blueberries with touches of licorice, tar, cigar box and truffles. The palate is medium to full-bodied, finely crafted and mineral laced in the mouth with loads of freshness and a very long, layered finish.
