Tasting notes
Wild sage, blueberries, black cherries, and spicy oak all emerge from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature Series Juliet, another full-bodied, ripe, sexy wine from this estate. Made from 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and equal dollops of Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah, It has some firmer tannins, so don't be afraid to give it 2-3 years in the cellar. It should evolve through 2036 or thereabout.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Juliet is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Syrah. It weighs in identical in alcohol to its Romeo counterpart (15.6%) but with higher acidity (pH 3.76), giving it a more vibrant feel in the mouth. It's still mostly blackberries, but there are notes of redder fruit as well, plus hints of peppery spice on the silky, lingering finish.
