Score 91/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 2013
A tete cuvee selection, the 2004 Brut LD is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay aged seven years on its lees in the bottle. Production is small (fewer than 500 cases). The wine's light straw color is accompanied by an excellent perfume of brioche, honey and a berry-like character. The long aging results in a honeyed, smoky hazelnut-like complexity such as one finds in this style of Champagne as well. Tel. (707) 887-1507
