Tasting notes
Red and black fruits, peppery herbs, and sappy flowers, as well as some spicy wood, all emerge from the 2021 Grenache On The Road, a richly textured, full-bodied Grenache that has a layered, opulent mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and one hell of a beautiful finish. All Grenache from the Slide Hill, Bien Nacido, and Larner vineyards, brought up in 80% new French oak for 30 months, drink bottles through 2032.

The 2021 Grenache On the Road is dusty and floral with a burst of dried black cherries, cedary spice and blood orange. It's soft textured with depths of ripe red berry fruits and sweet inner herbal tones. Tension gains through a saturation of primary concentration. Grippy tannins linger as this finishes with admirable length and spicy concentration. The On the Road is sourced from seven different vineyards, primarily from Paso Robles.
