Tasting notes
The 2017 Pinot Noir Labyrinth Vineyard comes from a site in the Russian River and spent 16 months in 60% new French oak. Russian River Pinot Noir doesn’t get much better. This straight-up brilliant wine offers a complex, nuanced, yet powerful bouquet of ripe strawberries, cherries, scorched earth, and flowers. With medium to full body, flawless balance, ripe tannins, and a finish that won’t quit, this magical effort can be drunk today or cellared for upwards of a decade.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Labyrinth Vineyard comes from Pommard clone vines. It fermented with native yeasts and aged 16 months in 60% new French oak. Medium ruby-purple colored, it features expressive Morello cherries, raspberry pie and kirsch scents with touches of red roses, oolong tea, mossy bark and fungi. Full-bodied, the palate has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bold fresh freshness supporting the generous fruit, finishing long and savory. 124 cases produced.
