Score 93/100 · Drink 2018-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2017
The 2014 Pinot Noir High Plains is the most overt and also structured of the Pinots. The fruit is on the riper side, which gives the wine its racy personality and textural voluptuousness. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, spice and leather all develop nicely. All the signatures of this site are amped up, with good interplay between the fruit and the structural elements that lie beneath.

The 2014 Pinot Noir High Plains is the most fully formed of these 2014 Pinots from Dehlinger. Lifted and expressive throughout, the 2014 offers lovely depth, with pretty scents of sweet tobacco, mint, flowers and fleshy dark red stone fruits.
