Tasting notes
The 2017 Viognier comes all from Sonoma and reveals a light gold color as well as a rocking perfume of ripe Meyer lemons, tangerines, flowers, and honeysuckle. It’s medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, and has real Viognier character. It’s going to shine on the dinner table and is ideal for drinking over the coming year or two.

The 2017 Viognier is a tasty white to drink now and over the next few years. Orchard fruit, wild flowers, chamomile and lightly honeyed notes all develop effortlessly. The Pride Viognier offers terrific varietal character with a good bit of freshness and plenty of textural depth.
The 2017 Viognier leaps from the glass with gregarious scents of honey drizzled apricots, poached pears, star anise, wilted roses and preserved orange peel with a waft of jasmine. Full-bodied with a sensuously oily texture and laden with stone fruit and perfumed layers, it has a zippy line of freshness and a long aniseed laced finish. 1147 cases were made.
