Tasting notes
The 2021 Grenache Pesenti Vineyard is sourced from a parcel of head-trained, dry-farmed vines planted in 2002. Readers will find a decidedly floral, savory style of Grenache with tons of complexity and notable fruit purity. I won’t be surprised if this shows even better from bottle.

Medium ruby, the 2021 Grenache Pesenti Vineyard features slowly blossoming scents of red cherries, blood orange, powdered sugar, leather and tobacco. The medium-bodied palate is loaded with supple berry fruit. It has a gently chewy frame with plenty of refreshing acidity, and it has a long, very flavorful finish. It drinks wonderfully on its own yet will pair with a wide variety of cuisines.
