Score 92/100 · Drink 2025-2045, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Dec 2022
Diel's Dorsheimer 2020 Goldloch Riesling Spätlese is clear, deep and flinty on the nose. The palate is round, light and filigree, with crystalline acidity and fine salinity, which makes this a weightless, highly elegant Spätlese with a stimulating, saline and finely grippy finish. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022.

This Spätlese is simultaneously strong and delightful, with delicate apricot and orange-blossom notes. Super balance and clarity. Only 7.5% alcohol, but neither too light nor too sweet, thanks to the brilliance at the long, very pristine finish. Drink or hold.
