Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2025-2030, Jancis Robinson MW, Jan 2024
The vines were planted by Amandine Marchive ’s grandfather in 1953. All from the heart of Fourchaume. 30% oak with two demi-muids over one year old. Concentrated, long and plush in texture. A powerful Fourchaume which is appealing now but has the density to age well. (AWH)

Revealing notes of sweet citrus fruit, white flowers, crisp green apple and blanched almonds, the 2022 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume is medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, with a rich core of fruit, good concentration and bright acids. Some 40% was matured in barrel.
