Tasting notes
The 2017 Chardonnay Walker Station, fermented in puncheons, has open-knit aromas of roasted almonds, toast, flint and white blossoms with soft notes of quince and red apples. In the mouth, it’s elegant and understated, offering a nice balance of flinty, nutty character with fresh fruits, and it has a medium body, silky and fresh, with a long finish. Lovely!

Brought up in 60% new French oak and from a site in the cooler Green Valley region of the Russian River, the 2017 Chardonnay Walker Station offers pure, classy notes of stone fruits, white flowers, crème brûlée, and toasted bread. Elegant and medium-bodied, with integrated acidity and a great finish, it's a terrific Chardonnay.
Attractive melon and pear aromas here with hints of grilled lemons and grapefruit. The palate has a sleek feel that delivers crisp fruit flesh and juicy acidity, amid bracingly fresh oak. Drink or hold.
