Tasting notes
Coming mostly from the Sonoma side of the estate, the 2015 Syrah (97% Syrah and 3% Viognier) is a deep ruby/purple-colored effort that packs serious amounts of fruit and texture. Blackcurrants, blackberries, smoked earth, and peppered meat notes, full body, ripe, sweet tannin, and a clean, lengthy finish all make for a terrific California Syrah. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.

The 2015 Syrah is fresh, delineated and full of nuance. Medium in body and gracious, with striking aromatic lift, the 2015 is fabulous. The inclusion of 25-30% whole clusters helps to give the Syrah a level of aromatic freshness and lift that is hugely appealing, especially in this vintage, where so many wines are overly heavy. A burst of sweet red cherry, pomegranate and rose petal punctuates the finish in this compelling Syrah from Pride.
