Score 92/100 · Drink 2016-2051, Robert Parker, Mar 2016

The 2013 Petite Sirah Burning Man looks like pen ink when it is poured from the glass, as bluish black as a moonless and starless night. The wine offers up stunning notes of blueberry and blackberry liqueur, a touch of camphor and white flowers. Surprisingly civilized tannins create a velvety texture, but the wine is super-concentrated, and of course, Petite Sirah is the ultimate anti-oxidant. This big, rich, full-throttle Petite Sirah (15.3% alcohol) will drink beautifully for the next 25-35 years – you can put money in the bank on that.
