Inky ruby. Smoky blackberry and cassis on the nose, with a brighter cherry quality building in the glass. Youthful dark berry flavors are firmed by dusty tannins, which don't get in the way of the sweet fruit. Becomes spicier on the finish, which echoes the deep dark fruit flavors. This is more brooding today than the Berceau.

Very honeysuckle and beguiling. Interesting layers with lots of richness and real lift with floral notes. Lovely wine! Transparent and lively. Quite long. Really revitalising. Yes! (JR)
