Tasting notes
A blend of 38% Merlot, 31% Malbec, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot, the 2018 Pepper Bridge Vineyard boasts delightful aromas of lavender, raw cocoa, crème de cassis, chocolate-covered blueberries and dusty black raspberries. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is impeccably balanced with a growing spicy edge that captures the delicious and juicy essence of blackberry, dark cherry and juicy currant. The blend ends with a food-friendly and mineral-laced finish with lingering flavors of black cherry and dark plum. The wine saw just under 60% new French oak. It's a gorgeous wine and not overdone. Give it a try. Just over 6,700 bottles were filled.

Another terrific wine, the 2018 Pepper Bridge Vineyard checks in as 38% Merlot, 31% Malbec, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Petit Verdot and has loads of character. More blue fruits, black cherries, spring flowers, and chocolaty notes emerge from the glass, and it has good mid-palate depth, integrated acidity, and medium-bodied richness on the palate. Drink this beauty any time over the coming 8-10 years.
