Opaque purple-black in color, the 2018 Zinfandel Zampatti Vineyard opens with notions of tar, aniseed, toasted coconut and baked black fruits with a note of graphite. The palate is full-bodied and firm, with refreshing pops of acidity and dense, broody fruit character, and it finishes long. This will benefit from more time in bottle.

The 2018 Zinfandel Zampatti Vineyard is another absolutely stellar wine in this range. Bright and punchy, with striking energy, the 2018 positively bristles with vibrant floral and spice notes. Deeply colored and dense, the 2018 is wonderfully complete and super-expressive. This is such an exceptional wine.
