Vivid orange-pink. Highly perfumed, mineral-driven aromas of ripe red berries and citrus fruits, along with a suave floral nuance that builds as the wine opens up. Concentrated yet animated on the palate, offering intense redcurrant, cherry, tangerine and anise flavors that unfurl steadily on the back half. The mineral and floral notes return emphatically on the penetrating finish, which hangs on with superb tenacity.

About the producer

Pascal Cotat
The other Cotat, Pascal Cotat, is cousin to the legendary François Cotat. The original family domaine was divided between them in 1998, and Pascal Cotat works many of the same vineyards, producing fine – if not quite as prized – Sancerre.
