Tasting notes
Based on 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon sports a deep purple hue and offers juicy, lively aromatics of blackcurrants, roasted herbs, graphite, and cedarwood with a kiss of chocolaty oak. It's medium-bodied, ripe, and round on the palate, with plenty of accessibility and charm. Made by the team of Paul Hobbs, this value-driven, impeccably made effort is ready to go now and should drink well over the coming 8-10 years. Drink 2025-2035.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley) is heady and boisterous right out of the gate. Succulent red cherry, cedar, spice and tobacco are amplified in the glass. Expressive earthy undertones lend character. New leather, spice and dried herbs add nuance to the exuberant finish. Best of all, this is a stellar value.
