Score 91/100 · Drink 2013-2021, Robert Parker, Jun 2013

The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Rector Creek Vineyard possesses pure, deep, black currant and blueberry fruit intermixed with licorice, incense and spice. Medium to full-bodied, impressively rich and youthful, it is already showing some secondary nuances. A velvety texture adds to the general opulence of this impressive Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. Tel. (888) 354-8885

Good full medium ruby.Aromas of cassis, redcurrant, mocha, chocolate and pungent oak. Juicy, minerally and bright, with strong acids giving definition to the flavors of hard candy, licorice, herbs and bitter chocolate. Finishes with dusty, slightly dry tannins.
