2012 Maison Blanche

Merlot dominates this cuvée, which is almost Pomerol-like in its fleshiness and succulence. It is ruby/plum in color, with loads of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, gorgeous texture, impressive purity, and a medium-bodied, fleshy mouthfeel. This is sexy wine at its best, a major sleeper of the vintage overseen by famous consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt.
