Score 91/100 · Drink 2015-2027, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2014
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Bancroft Ranch is creamy and supple on the palate, with good up-front fruit, but less in the way of true Howell Mountain structure, which could be a positive or negative, depending on one's point of view. One plus for the Bancroft next to the Vogt is that it will certainly drink better earlier. Dark red cherry, plum, incense and wild flowers are laced into the supple, engaging finish.

Score 96/100 · Drink 2014-2029, Robert Parker, Oct 2014
Made in an in-your-face, bold, extroverted style, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Bancroft Ranch exhibits more chocolate and crème de cassis along with super purity and well-disguised oak. Full-bodied and opulent, it should drink well for 15+ years.
