Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2027-2042, Neal Martin, Nov 2024

The 2023 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru is another cuvée that feels a little muted and unresponsive on the nose despite coaxing. The palate is more expressive, medium-bodied with allspice and clove infusing the red berry fruit. This has gentle grip and nice balance on the finish, but it just needs a little more grandeur.
